German language courses in Düsseldorf

Level A1.1 – C1.1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

Attention: Attendance at course level A1.1 is currently only possible with knowledge of English in order to be able to help with any software and hardware problems.

The intensive courses will prepare you for studying or working in Germany. The course content is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and takes into account the requirements of recognized German exams such as Goethe, telc, TestDaF or DSH.

You will learn German together with other participants from all over the world and your course instructor. You hear, speak, read and write. You will also chat with your classmates and work on group projects.
Every day you do live exercises, repeat grammar and structures and learn new vocabulary. You will work with interactive exercises and course materials that publishers and the IDaF have created for lessons. Written and oral tests complement learning.

Intensive Courses

Heinrich Heine

The course addresses to learners and students who are willing to study in Germany or who aim to improve their general language skills. The lessons take place in small groups of maximal 15 participants. An intensive course comprises around 200 lessons in 2 months – 5 lessons from Monday to Friday – either from 9 am to 1 pm or from 2 pm to 6 pm.

Each course corresponds to a level according to the European Framework. This means that a learner needs 2 months for the basic level A1, two further months for A2 etc. We offer courses in the basic level (A1/A2), the middle level (B1/B2) up to upper level (C1). The intensive course C1 is also interesting for participants who would like to prepare for the DSH examination.

It is possible to join an ongoing course at any time!
